Summer Reading
Hi all and thanks for your continued support and comments on the blog!
Todays post is about summer reading! How many of you had to do the summer reading list while in school? Well, all of my children did, but when I was in school, they hadn't thought of that requirement yet! But we did a lot of reading in my family and summer was about the fun and interesting stuff that you didn't "have" to read. (And it could be because one of my aunt's was an English teacher, so she always had something to read to us or for us to read.) Since then, summer has been the time to make sure that I include fun or as I call it, trash reading! Oh I still continue to read the business stuff that is stacked up, but I make sure to take some time almost each night and some time on Saturday and Sunday to read!
So tell me what are your favorite books to read? No business stuff please - we will address that another time!
I've just finished reading 2 of Carl Hiaasen's books and found them fun and entertaining! Now I'm starting a book one of my neighbor's loaned me, The Bookseller of Kabul by Asne Seirstad. Now I'm sure that it's not ging to be quite as entertaining as the previous books, but I'm looking forward to it and know that it will be informative!!
I look forward to knowing what's on your nightstand! I'm sure I will probably want to add those to my list of things to read - which is never-ending!!!
Thanks again for the imput!
